Your service team completed 2 recalls and changed my oil and rotated my tires. The big shock was when I got the bill and it was $158. I will no longer have my vehicle serviced at your location because no one could explain why I paid that when the first time I was there I paid $107. Very frustrated customer.

January 28, 2025 I have experienced issues with Covington Pike Buick previously, back when it was known as Sunrise. Consequently, I have chosen to service my 2023 Buick Encore GX at Chuck Hutton. I am very fond of this car and ensure that its scheduled maintenance is consistently performed. In mid January, a mechanical problem arose with my vehicle due to a drop in temperature. Given that it is a Buick and still under warranty, I decided to take it to a Buick dealer. Although Covington Pike was the closest dealership, I was initially hesitant to visit due to past experiences. However, upon discovering that they were now under new management (Jim Keras), I decided to give them another chance. I informed the service agent about my previous experience, and he assisted me with a rental car, which left me feeling confident that the repairs would be handled properly. On January 13th, 2025, the service advisor called to inform me that my car was ready for pick-up after replacing the fuel pump. He also mentioned that the technician recommended a transmission flush and a coolant flush, totaling over $400. I had recently serviced and inspected the car a few weeks prior, and there had been no mention of these services being necessary. Additionally, the vehicle had only 23,000 miles. The service advisor stated that although he could not comment on the other dealership's inspection, his technician insisted that these services were urgently needed. Reluctantly, I authorized the additional work. Feeling uneasy, I immediately consulted other dealerships for advice. I was informed that a transmission flush is typically required at 45,000 miles, and the coolant should last for 150,000 miles or five years, whichever comes first, as indicated both on their service desks and in the vehicle manual. Another dealer advised that if the vehicle truly needed these services at 23,000 miles, it might indicate an internal engine issue covered by the warranty. They suggested having Covington Pike take pictures or stopping the service for further inspection. When I called back to halt the service, the advisor admitted an error regarding the transmission but informed me that the coolant service had already been completed, and I needed to pay for it to retrieve my car. I showed the service advisor the vehicle manual and the information posted on his desk, but he blamed the technician. Attempts to speak with the service manager were unsuccessful, as he was always unavailable. After several calls, I finally reached the service manager, Mike Collins, who promised to investigate and follow up. It has now been nearly three weeks of daily calls and voicemails with no response. Additionally, Greg Thomas, Customer Relations Director for Jim Keras, provided his contact information via email, yet my daily calls and voicemails since January 14th have also gone unanswered.

I set an appointment for an oil change in the myBuick app. There were two price selections to choose from $88.99 and $129.99. I chose the $88.99 package. Upon my arrival, I was told that the price had increased, but I guess I should have inquired about the price prior to me handing over my keys because I was under the impression that I was receiving the package deal that I selected on the app. Once the service was completed the total price was $154 and some odd cents for an oil change. I had a $25 off coupon which brought my total to $129 and some odd cents but I was very disappointed because I did not receive what I selected in the app although. I was told when I come back I will get 50% off of the oil change but it still was a complete disappointment and a terrible experience for me.

I had service scheduled due to a recall. My appointment for drop-off was at 8:30am. The drop-off was smooth and quick. Everyone was extremely polite, which is rare nowadays! Literally, everyone who saw me said good morning and asked if I needed help...with a smile! When I made it home, they called me with updates regarding my vehicle and were finished before 2pm. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the process was smooth and the customer service was still top notch!

Had an 8AM appointment on February 14 was told would be 2 to 3 days before they could look at it. While speaking with service manager, vince ramirez kept interrupting me. After vehicle was diagnosed and was told what the problem was Vince told me that he was tired of dealing with me and that me paperwork. Was at the desk and then called me a liar in front of his coworkers and other customers in the waiting area. Was placed in a rental car. And was contacted by the rental car company on 11 Mar to be notified that my car would be ready and was finally contacted by dealership on 13 Mar. Filed a complaint with GMC customer care on 14 February and the dealership has been sent multiple notifications and have had no response from anyone at dealership about anything.

Made an appointment for a diagnostic due to a manufacturer problem. When I got there I was told that there was a possibility that the diagnostic took a long time and I would have to leave my automobile over night. I let the representative know that was not an option and should have told me at the time of setting up my appointment. I am a senior and when I said I was not leaving until the diagnostic had been done. It was then that the diagnostic was done and took about 35 minutes.

The service I received, I suppose was what I asked for to be done. However when my car was returned to me, there was an Oil Filter laying between the passenger seat and door. I had a very unique problem with the drain to the condensation from the A/C being stopped up. Mr. Vince knew exactly what it was and had Mr. Mark take over. He took all of the carpet out, dried them, dried up the floor under the carpet and of course unstopped the drain. When dried, he put all of the carpet back in place and laid the $2.03 in coins that he found on the carpet for me. Mr. Mike also checked on the process being done. Also, had the oil changed and tires rotated. This Service Dept. is the very BEST anywhere.

This rating is not for the work the service department did, they did a good job. The rating is for the sensor that failed a month after we got the vehicle, it was talked about the pre-inspection process and how thorough it was. I would think that should of been caught. When the service department called me to tell me that this part wasn't covered by the warranty(of course it wasn't). He said he was going to check with the used car manager about having to pay it since we just got it and I felt it should of been caught in the pre-inspection. There was no follow up from that and my contact info was written down wrong causing a day delay in response also.

I brought my truck in for a diagnostic test because I didn’t know what was wrong with it. I said there’s a light on because my sensor is out on one of my ties. There is no engine light on. Will you be able to successfully check to see what is wrong? Oh yes, no problem. We’ll find it quoted by Justin the service guy so About 4 o’clock maybehe called and said that nothing was wrong. I couldn’t figure it out, but for some reason, I noticed all all my central lights was was showing as if I needed sensor for all four tires. None of the tires was being monitor so I ask what happened why are my sensor lights showing that I need four sensors now and he stated well we checked the sensors I asked why because I informed you that I knew about the sensors out and I said I need those sensor lights back off and I need my three tires to be showing that there are monitor well he went on to say that if I wanted them to show I had to pay $217 I believe in order to fix the one sensor then the other three sensors will show back up so I stated that’s unacceptable I didn’t bring it in like that. There nothing I can do about it so I asked to speak with Joey the manager he said he’s busy and I’ll have him give you a call so he never call so I brought my truck back. Joey pretty much said the same thing that the only way to get back the other three sensor would be to fix the one that was out. I couldn’t get him to see that I didn’t bring my truck there for the sensor so I informed him that my oil was changed and my tires were rotated and I didn’t give them permission to do that and he still said nothing so I was I feel I brought my truck in and they changed the oil and did not do a diagnostic test on it because now I’m still having the same problem and I taken the truck to Sunrise on 64 Highway probably gonna have to spend another diagnostic fee to find out what’s wrong with it because the guy over at Jim Carrey didn’t do their job I was taking advantage of and robbed of $251 and some change. I tried calling I left my number and name. No one has yet called.

I called the service manager Vince on Wednesday with a couple.of concerns about my 2013 Encore. He scheduled me bring it in the day after Thanksgiving to check and make sure nothing was wrong. I arrived at 9am and the courtesy shuttle was out with another customer. Rather than having me wait till it returned, Vince had the shop manager test drive my vehicle and check my concerns. I was in and out within an hour.

The service was good however, the labor was extremely high especially to install a battery but lesson learned. When I purchased my extended warranty from Ally which by the way was from this location, I was informed that it would be a certain deduction and not a difference in labor cost, again lesson learned.
